I am a full-blooded Coloradan, and I grew up in Westminster, CO. I graduated from Northglenn High School. Growing up, I always had a passion for math and building/doing things that allowed me to look back at quality finished product. This is what really lead me to construction from a very young age.
I graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction management with a minor in Business Administration. This allowed me to bolster my love for math and the built environment in the best ways possible. During my tenure at Fransen Pittman, I have earned my LEED Green Accreditation and become a Quality Certified Technician.
As soon as I graduated from CSU, I started a six-month internship with Fransen Pittman, with a plan to go back to CSU for my master’s degree in Business. Three months into my internship, I realized I would never be able to find a place like Fransen Pittman again. From all the great people that work here, to the awesome/quality work we do and the relationships we cultivate, I would be crazy to leave. So, I asked to be brought on as a full-time Project Engineer. Now a Senior Project Manager, it turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made.
As a lifelong Coloradan, I take full advantage of everything the state has to offer. In the winter, I spend weekends both downhill and uphill skiing, while summers are filled with adventures alongside my wife and two sons—hiking 14ers, road biking, attending Rockies games, disc golfing, exploring local breweries, and enjoying Colorado’s incredible weather. With much of our family now living outside the state, we also enjoy traveling to destinations such as Arizona, Michigan, Montana, and Texas. When we’re not on the go, we enjoy spending time at our home in Castle Rock and all the rewarding projects that come with making it our own.
I grew up a Meloneer in Rocky Ford, Colorado. Most of my childhood was spent playing sports, being with family (immediate and extended) and helping my father with house projects. I am one of six siblings and there is still never a dull moment when we get together as a family.
I graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Construction Management. I began my academic career in CSU’s Civil Engineering program, but hands-on construction experience and a passion for carpentry and building ultimately led me to transition into the Construction Management program.
Before becoming a Project Executive, I gained experience serving as both a Construction Superintendent and Project Manager, primarily on K–12 facilities. I value the opportunity to help deliver spaces that create lasting benefits for communities and students for generations. I am also deeply engaged in the evolution of building systems, construction methods, and materials, and I continually strive to expand my knowledge with every new project and design.
I enjoy spending time outdoors camping, hiking, disc golfing, and boating with family and friends. My wife and I have two daughters and a son who keep us very busy, and with the kids actively involved in community sports—something I truly enjoy watching—free time for hobbies outside of our daily family adventures can be hard to find.
I was born in Wichita, Kansas, though I grew up in east Africa because my father was a missionary doctor (Pathologist) in rural clinics around Nairobi, Kenya.
I earned a bachelor's degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University.
Even growing up in Africa, I have always had a passion for constructing. I enjoy the opportunities to form new relationships with each new project, and I always strive to exceed expectations with clients. Working with other professionals in a common goal of bringing an idea into reality has always been an incredibly rewarding experience. It’s like farming. You get to physically see and touch the result of all your labor and it’s very satisfying to be able to do that. It’s a noble trade and I feel privileged to work alongside so many extraordinary people.
I currently live in Northern Colorado with my wife, Julia, and our five children. I met my wife in Fort Collins when I was attending CSU for Construction Management. We were both on the church worship team together, and the story goes that Julia couldn’t believe how good I was on the drums. Now, we enjoy the rural lifestyle and being involved in our kids' 4H Community. My children compete in shooting sports and swine market livestock. Jack (my oldest) and I enjoy large game hunting and pheasant hunting here in Colorado.
My entire family is from Southeast South Dakota where my dad grew up on a dairy farm and began his career making cheese. I was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin while my dad was making cheese for Kraft. My family then moved to Manteca, California after a few years in Wisconsin and then moved to Littleton, Colorado in September of 1988 when my dad started working at Leprino Foods.
I graduated from Columbine High School in 2002 and then graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and a minor in Business Administration.
I started my professional career in 2007 working for a small General Contractor building banks. I was an Assistant Superintendent for a year and a Superintendent for two years. In 2010, I traded my Carhartts for dress pants and joined Fransen Pittman’s preconstruction department as an Estimator. This was the first time I had ever worked in an office! Now, as Preconstruction Director, I am passionate about owner involvement in the early stages of design and conveying how project dollars are prioritized and allocated.
My hobbies are my family! I have been married to my best friend, Laura, for 15 years and we have two amazing kids – daughter, Ziah, and son, David. We lived in Parker for 12 years and now live in Castle Pines. We are surrounded by a great community of friends and family, and it seems we constantly have those friends and family at our house doing life together.
I was born and raised in the great state of Texas. Growing up in Dallas and spending much of my time on lakes in East Texas, I naturally gravitated toward the outdoors over city life. My early years were filled with lake adventures, weekends at friends’ ranches, and plenty of time on the golf course. Shortly after college, my wife, Sterling, and I decided to make the move to Denver and proudly call Colorado home.
I had the honor to graduate from the greatest university, Texas A&M, with a bachelors degree in Construction Science and a minor in Business. During my time in College Station, I earned my OSHA-30 certification, along with several leadership accreditations through on-campus involvement. Gig ‘Em Ags!
I have loved the idea of working construction ever since I was a little kid, being able to see an idea on paper come out of the ground has always piqued my interest. I was able go right to work after graduation in the K-12 construction industry in the booming North Dallas area. Construction for me has always been about the impact the built environment is going to have on the communities, and the daily occupant of the jobs I have been honored to work on! Still fresh into construction industry, I am always eager to learn more and see construction advance with time!
In my free time, I love to ski and play a lot of golf—whenever and wherever (now being in Denver I miss the year-round golf season)! I also enjoy biking, trying new foods with my wife, and getting to spend quality time with our two kids. I have had a great time trying hobbies here in Colorado, so I don’t think I will exhaust my options anytime soon!
I grew up in Colorado Springs and spent most of my time outdoors—camping, fishing, dirt biking in the summer, and shredding the slopes in the winter. I also danced competitively (I still remember one tap move I can bust out on request 😄) and played soccer throughout my childhood.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Colorado State University. In addition to my degree, I hold several certifications including OSHA 10, scissor lift and boom lift operation, and First Aid/CPR training. I'm currently enrolled in the Construction Industry of Colorado Training Council (CITC) working to become a certified Carpenter.
I'm passionate about being in the field—right where the action happens! My goal is to grow into a superintendent role within the next 3 to 4 years, where I can lead projects and teams.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, spending time in nature, tackling a good puzzle, and of course, spending quality time with my loved ones.
As a Colorado native, I grew up in Elizabeth, CO enjoying the traditional outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer, with a passion for all shooting sports!
I completed my prerequisites at Colorado Christian University, and after a long hiatus, I transferred to CSU Global to finish out my BS in Project Management. In addition to traditional education, I previously held MSHA, Hazwoper, and several other industry-specific certifications prior to coming to FP.
Although I did not come from a GC previously, I have 17 years of experience in the civil/geosynthetic industry, and I have been blessed to travel all around the US (and some abroad) where I worked as a superintendent, fabrication manager, and project manager.
When I am not working, I love to shoot, ride motorcycles, and camp as much as possible, although a lot of my time in nice weather is spent at the diamond watching my daughter play softball!
