The 63,315 SF Student Commons provides a meeting place for all student-generated activities. At the Student Commons, Aims students can access study spaces, the campus bookstore, and Arty’s Bistro & Coffee Bar. Between classes, students can hang with friends at the student lounge equipped with game tables and a custom fireplace.
During the construction of both the Welcome Center and Student Commons, the Fransen Pittman team saw the opportunity for direct student involvement. We hired on 7 students from the Aims Construction Management program to help in the building process, and have retained 3 interns for full-time engineering positions at FP. Talk about full circle!
