Recently completed, Allen Public Library underwent a major facility expansion and interior renovation. The project encompassed two new additions totaling 18,500 SF, along with comprehensive upgrades to the existing 54,000 SF space.
The renovation introduced an expanded social area designed for community engagement, flexible space at the east entrance, new study rooms to support individual and group learning, an expanded children’s wing with interactive spaces, and a dedicated teen area tailored for youth programs.Additional updates included new parking areas to accommodate increased patron traffic, new roof for enhanced durability and energy efficiency, and an outdoor program area.
