Currently preparing for the construction phase, Allen Public Library will undergo a reconfiguration of its existing space and an expansion of its footprint. Project scope includes an 18,500 SF addition, overhaul of the children’s area and meeting spaces, an outdoor program area, and enlargement of the parking lot. The library will remain operational during construction, requiring an in-depth safety and site plan to ensure patron safety and separation from construction operations.
