FP constructed this new school for Banning Lewis Ranch to serve grades 6-12 in Colorado Springs. This middle and high school educational facility was a ground up project and utilized tilt up concrete construction. It provides classrooms and innovative learning space for 1000 students.
Banning Lewis Prep Academy also holds necessary features like a full size CHSAA approved basketball court/gymnasium for school athletics and assemblies. The design utilizes Colorado’s 300 days of sunshine by providing an outdoor cafeteria/courtyard for students which has seating and tables for students to eat, socialize and use as a common place. The project was completed in 11 months to get students learning as quickly as possible.
"The FP team was with us from start to finish. Members of the FP executive, finance, and the assigned onsite teams walked with us through the early design/build stages, quickly responded to inquiries, made revisions as needed, worked well with the architectural partner and all stakeholders. BLPA would not have opened if it wasn't for the dedication of the FP team assigned to this project and their commitment to the established timelines."
