Located at 1375 Sherman St (adjacent to the State Capitol Building), this project is currently in the works. Scope includes a total interior demolition and renovation of the historic building back to its core shell. Originally constructed in the 1930s, asbestos abatement is a large component of the project. FP is replacing all of the aged electrical systems, replacing all of the remaining plumbing piping, and providing a more efficient layout that will meet the highest LEED certification level possible. All windows are being replaced and steam heat converted to hot water. Repairs to the building’s marble shell are also being made. On the basement level of the building is the Colorado State Patrol (CSP)’s Executive Security unit, which is also undergoing a full renovation.
