Fransen Pittman is currently expanding and renovating the Town of Erie Police Department facility at 1000 Telleen Avenue. The approximately 50,000 SF project includes a 32,000 SF addition and renovation of the existing 18,000 SF police facility, providing additional space to accommodate the department’s continued growth and evolving operational needs.
Construction is being completed in phases while the Police Department remains fully occupied and operational, requiring careful sequencing and coordination to maintain uninterrupted police services throughout construction. The project also allows space formerly occupied by the municipal court to be more efficiently and securely utilized by Police Department operations. Fransen Pittman previously constructed the original police and municipal court facility, which opened in 2014, and has returned to expand the building as Erie continues to grow.
