Water Treatment & Wastewater Treatment Plants

Fransen Pittman has partnered with the City of Grapevine to deliver new administration and maintenance space for the city’s Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). Both the WTP and WWTP will remain fully operational during construction. Project scope includes:

Water Treatment Plant

• Administration Building: 7,100 SF, three-level addition to the existing filter building with CMU walls, brick veneer, steel framing, and a mat foundation.
• Maintenance Building: New 4,300 SF CMU structure with brick veneer and slab-on-grade foundation.
• Site Work: ~21,700 SF paving; relocation of underground utilities and overhead electrical.

Wastewater Treatment Plant

• Administration Building: Demolition of existing 1,900 SF building; construction of new 11,080 SF split-level CMU structure with brick veneer and retaining walls.
• Site Work: ~21,000 SF paving; relocation of underground utilities and overhead electrical.
