Currently under construction, this comprehensive theater renovation is modernizing the historic Loretto Heights Theatre to enhance accessibility, improve performance capabilities, and elevate the patron experience while bringing the building into compliance with current codes and standards.
The project is replacing audience seating, increasing row spacing, installing passenger elevators and wheelchair ramps, and expanding public restroom facilities to improve accessibility and ADA compliance. Technology upgrades include new lighting and audiovisual systems, modernization of the stage rigging system, and replacement of orchestra pit hydraulics. The work also includes hazardous material abatement and replacement of aging mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. In addition, a new parking structure is being constructed to expand parking capacity and better serve patrons and staff.
