Aurora Public Schools

Del Mar Academy is a PK-8 school located in Aurora’s Lyn Knoll neighborhood. The facility is based off the design of APS’ Aurora Science & Technology School (a project also completed by FP). Sitting at three (3) stories, Del Mar Academy has a capacity of 1,000 students. The brand-new building features indoor classrooms with ample natural light, two (2) science labs, a STEM lab, media center, two (2) music rooms, full commercial kitchen and cafeteria, outdoor classrooms and garden area, and state-of-the-art safety features.
