Manhattan Middle School of Arts is an art-focused school within the Boulder Valley School District. The school offers in-depth study of various art forms, a Spanish Dual Language Program, and a traditional middle school program. Manhattan needed a remodel/gym addition to provide modern spaces for its students.
The remodel involved interior and exterior door replacement, a kitchen gut and remodel, a library gut and remodel, an extensive interior courtyard remodel, boiler replacement, and mechanical/electrical and technology upgrades. All interior project scope was completed during the summer months. Once school started, FP built a gym addition that featured a new precast full-court gymnasium, storage rooms, locker rooms, and hard surface courts and landscaping.
