The new Mead Library was developed through a partnership between the High Plains Library District, the Town of Mead, and studiotrope Design Collective. Located on a three-acre site adjacent to Liberty Ranch Park, the 13,000 SF facility provides residents with a modern destination for learning, connection, and community engagement. Designed to serve one of Weld County’s fastest-growing communities, the library features a large community room, flexible space for workforce development and programming, and an interactive children’s area that supports lifelong learning.
The project included construction of the new library building, site and infrastructure improvements, and inviting outdoor gathering spaces that extend the library’s role as a community hub. As the newest branch in the High Plains Library District network, the Mead Library expands access to educational resources, programming, and public services while creating a welcoming civic asset designed to support the community’s continued growth for years to come.
