MVFR’s newest fire station focuses on achieving the requirements of a modern firehouse whilst meeting the needs of a rapidly expanding Erie community. The station is dedicated to efficient circulation and separation of the Hot, Warm, and Cold zones, as well as safe and efficient movement of apparatus, cars, and pedestrians on the site. The internal zones and their functions are distinguished by a series of low-sloping roofs that reflect daylighting to interior circulation spaces and bays.
