FP built this new facility as the first permanent supportive housing facility in Fort Collins. Redtail Ponds is meant to combine affordable housing with necessary services to help individuals achieve more stable lives. Redtail Ponds was constructed on an undeveloped 3-acre site and was funded through CHFA and required Section 3 employment opportunities and Enterprise Green Community certification. The facility holds 60 units: 50 one-bedroom/one bath and kitchen units and 10 ADA units for up to 263 residents. Redtail Ponds also holds public and community space on the ground floor for residents to share and interact. The site is a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) and incorporates multiple sustainable design elements.
