RFMA, a charter school serving K-8 students, was awarded a BEST grant. Their new, state-of-the-art campus was designed and constructed to support the school’s mission toward rigorous academics, social consciousness, and cultural awareness.
Due to site constraints, the new RFMA building was constructed just 10 feet away from the existing, occupied building. This challenged the FP team to come up with creative noise-reduction strategies. We were in constant communication with school staff and the surrounding community to ensure that the school’s learning environment remained productive and the surrounding grounds were safe.
