With the award of a BEST Grant, Rocky Ford School District has secured funding for a PK-12 Addition & Renovation project on their current Jr./Sr. High School campus. The District plans to consolidate their elementary and intermediate schools onto the pre-existing high school site, creating a unified PK-12 campus. The scope of work calls for major site improvements, new playgrounds, renovations to the existing school (~13,000 SF) and multiple building additions (~90,000 SF). The project kicked off at the end of 2022 and is set for completion by July of 2024.
Fun Fact: Our Project Manager, Jake Kienitz, is a former Meloneer and Rocky Ford graduate. He will be working on site full-time throughout construction. Talk about full circle!
