SkyView Academy was originally occupying the south half of a vacated home improvement store. With increasing enrollment, the school decided to expand into a K-12 campus and needed to finish out the northern half of the building. This expansion included the addition of a second floor, two gymnasiums, and a full commercial kitchen with a cafeteria/multi-purpose area. Classrooms and administrative offices were also added.
During this project, safety was Fransen Pittman’s primary responsibility. Students occupied the southern half of the building while FP worked on the northern, and later, FP finished the western half, while students moved into the eastern. The project was also on a fast-track schedule.
