The Denver Hospice hosts a unique care community for patients, family, and staff. It offers spaces for patients and families to find comfort, spirituality, and hospitality. Built with these patient and family considerations in mind, The Denver Hospice offers a peaceful design. 24 private rooms are each equipped with a private patio, and large windows for views of Colorado are found everywhere in the building. Comfortable seating areas are scattered throughout the center, while support spaces and staff work areas are distinguished and recognizable. The 35,000 sq ft facility also incorporated sustainable design best practices such as indoor air quality controls, preference for products made within a 500-mile radius of Denver, and light-colored roofing materials. The Denver Hospice represents the merging of healthcare and comfort.
