Located in the historic Colfax Ave. district of Denver, The Center serves as a central meeting place, networking space, and resource center for LGBTQ youth and community members across the Rocky Mountain region. This project featured a building remodel and added a three-stop elevator for the organization’s current and future needs. The remodel restructured the existing cast-in-place concrete structure to support the new design which included all new mechanical and electrical, and a transformation of the existing roof into a recreational/social space. Fransen Pittman successfully delivered this project on time, within budget parameters, and adapting to downtown Denver’s limited staging area.
