Knowledge Quest Academy broke ground for their new addition and renovation on April 7th. KQA is a K-8 Charter School located in Milliken, CO with a 410-student capacity. With a maximum classroom size of 25, KQA requires an expansion to best suit the needs of their expanding population.
The addition will include four new classrooms, a flex space, and new restroom group. Renovations will transform three existing classrooms into one tech/STEM classroom, one art classroom, admin office space, and additional storage. The added classrooms and learning spaces will give the building new life, as KQA's facility has been operating under its original 2001 form.
“We are honored to have the opportunity to add on to such an amazing school! It’s inspiring to see the investment that the staff, parents, and community put into the school and its students to help them achieve success,” said Caleb Hiss, Assistant Project Manager for Fransen Pittman. This (investment) was apparent by the great turnout at the groundbreaking event. We are excited for everyone to see and use the new space this fall,” Hiss added.
