On your mark, get set, go! For the fifth year, Fransen Pittman will be hosting its annual 5K race! Employees are encouraged to bring their families, friends, and pooches to the event. This year's 5K will be on May 14^th at the Englewood office, bright and early at 7:30am. Cassie Scott, HR Director for Fransen Pittman, approached the ownership with the plans to host a 5K, in addition to the MS150, for those who are apathetic towards cycling but are still interested in group wellness activities. Throughout the years, the 5K has been held at the Englewood office but during the pandemic, the team ran a virtual 5K, where employees and their families took the opportunity to get out and be active in their choice activity. Even through the pandemic, the fuel for friendly competition increases participation. “In the past, it's been fun to see FP employees with their spouses & kids riding their little bikes, as well as those who get really competitive,” says Vanda Howell, Executive Coordinator at Fransen Pittman. Every year, FP provides breakfast to all race finishers. This year, the pancake food truck will likely provided added inspiration to cross the finish line. A large trophy is up for grabs as well this year, so there is more at stake than ever before!
