Its National Apprentice Week! We want to thank our 15 dedicated apprentices for all their hard work as they work towards their certifications. We also want to congratulate all those who have graduated from our program! Our apprenticeship program at FP is 4 year program, and every 6 months, apprentices change levels and work towards a new skill level. The program incorporates on the job training as well as classroom work, so often times the apprentices get done working for the day and jump into school classes. Fransen Pittman pays for the cost of the training, books, and materials.  The apprentice pays for their own tools.  Every 6 months at the completion of their level change, they receive a pay increase and when they finish the program they’re at full journeymen carpenter wages.
